"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called Children of God"

Matthew 5:9

How people are being impacted

Police officers respond with great appreciation and surprise and comment about how much they need to hear a “thank you” from the people they serve and protect. They often express, that “thank yous” from citizens are rare. Officers often want to know more about Prayer Postcards 4 Police and sometimes will ask for a Prayer Postcard to uplift a fellow officer.

Some officers testify that they feel the presence of prayers made on their behalf, and have described the experience of the personal presentation of a Prayer Postcard 4 Police as “making their day.” They often tell us that they have shared Prayer Postcards with their family members and that they know exactly where their Prayer Postcards are located.

Testimonials from family members

“In just reading your brief note this morning, I thank God for your compassion and tender heart. You truly are a blessing to those who serve in policing. With the news on TV constantly speaking about the recent tragedy in Toronto, I’m sure the police officers don’t get much chance of a break to decompress. When I read your desire to give “encouragement, a prayer and a hug,” I could sense such warmth and kindness; you bring the manna that these men and women need to get through the day with a healthy body, mind and spirit.”

–Mother of Police Officer

“ My husband came home from a late shift the other night with your beautiful card promising prayers for him and our family. I can’t tell you how much this means to me as a wife of a police officer. It also means the world to my husband to hear such positive and uplifting praise from a member of the community. Thank you for adding your prayers to our own. Your card and heartfelt thanks will be treasured by our family forever. I can speak for many other cop wives/families in saying thank you for your prayers to keep our loved ones safe while they serve the community.”
